Managing Director

malcolm@coxpartners.co.nz

After studying Industrial Engineering and Marketing at Massey University Malcolm graduated with a Bachelor of Business Studies in 1979. He was recruited by Alex Harvey Industries, and was appointed Quality Control Manager at AHI's Metal Container Plant in Auckland.

In 1986, a major change of direction, took him to Sydney where he studied Osteopathic Medicine, and developed an interest in Meditation. During the following six years he expanded his skills through a variety of professions.

In 1993 Malcolm assumed responsibility for Cox Partners Estate Agents. Under his leadership the company has implemented some of the most innovative and progressive systems in the industry.

In 1995 Malcolm graduated a second time from Massey University - this time with a Diploma of Business Studies in Real Estate. And since graduating he has taught the Real Estate Systems portion on this course.

Malcolm is currently completing an Executive MBA with Massey University.

Malcolm's goal is to create a business that provides the best real estate service in New Zealand based on the highest standards of ethics, values and client care. This commitment to being the very best has meant having to break from many "traditional" methods.

Being the best insists that you are different. And the transition from being "one of the pack" to "one of a kind" has not always been simple. It is sometimes painful, and sometimes makes you the target for pressure and criticism.

However, for Malcolm, nothing is more rewarding than to be different and to make a difference.

Malcolm and his wife Helen live in Napier with their twin teenage sons and pre-school child.
